“I’m so excited to be selected as this year’s convocation speaker—it’s truly an honor,” said Clarvit, who earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology and has a minor in Global Enterprise Technology.
After spending time working for JP Morgan Chase and AT Gekko, among others, Clarvit is now the managing director at CCFO Investments. He is also the CEO of Clarvit Venture & Technology Advisors.
Clarvit plans to use his time to highlight the need to remain “human first” in a rapidly evolving, tech‑driven world, he said.
“I will be discussing my own journey—from neighborhood tech‑whiz to cross‑industry professional—and then show how, even as AI and other innovations advance at breakneck speed, true leadership depends on empathy and diverse perspectives,” Clarvit said.
His speech will come with a challenge for the Class of 2025 to harness their iSchool education and unique talents to drive positive, human‑centered change in the world.
