Roman Saladino is a Ph.D. student at the iSchool. Before coming to the iSchool, Roman graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University. Currently, Roman’s academic interests lie at the intersection of Human/AI interactions and human meaning-making. Specifically, he is interested in how people form moral judgments about AI systems and what factors shape these evaluations. More broadly, his academic interests include (but are not limited to) Human-Machine Interactions, AI Ethics, and Moral Philosophy.

Roman is a member of the iSchool’s LinkLab, where he is advised by Dr. Jaime Banks.
