
Khashayar Khodadad Motarjemi is a Ph.D. student at the iSchool. His research draws from media studies, STS, history of computing, and his prior technical training to examine programming, code, and software as phenomena that are deeply woven into contemporary culture and society. Khashayar holds a B.A. in computer engineering from the University of Zanjan and worked as a software developer prior to starting his doctoral program. His research interests include Software Studies, Platform Studies, Critical Code Studies, Free/Libre Open Source Software, Artificial Intelligence, and the History of Science and Technology.
