KyungA (Kayla) Lee

Dr. KyungA (Kayla) Lee is a visiting scholar at the iSchool, working with the researchers in the iSchool’s LinkLab. She is a linguistics scholar specializing in phonetics, phonology, second language speech learning, and AI-assisted language learning. Drawing on her years of classroom experience as an elementary school teacher, her broader research interests include the intersection of language, technology, and children. She has a particular specialization in the potential biases embedded in data collected from young users, and in how children and AI interact with each other.
