Biswajyoti Das is a dedicated higher education professional with over 15 years of comprehensive experience in international student recruitment. He possess a strong ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to develop effective recruitment strategies that facilitate growth. He graduated from Assam University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physics. Currently, he resides in New Delhi, India, and serves as the Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment at Syracuse University. In this role, he is am committed to guiding students for the university within the study-abroad sector.

Amaan Ali Khan Barkath

I’m Amaan Ali Khan, a graduate student pursuing Masters in Applied Data Science at Syracuse University. I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in India. My experience spans internships in data science, AI research, and graphic design, with projects such as an AI-based tuberculosis detection system and a dermatological disease classification tool. I’ve also served as Head of Creatives Domain at the Institution of Engineers (India), organising hackathons and webinars. I’m excited to share my journey and help prospective students learn more about the iSchool!

After attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from India and gaining 3.5 years of work experience, I decided to pursue the Applied Data Science program at Syracuse University’s iSchool. The program’s comprehensive curriculum and the university’s strong alumni network attracted me to this opportunity. My involvement as a Graduate Ambassador and participating in various on-campus events and organizations has enriched my university experience, allowing me to network extensively and develop crucial time management skills. The support from seniors and the welcoming community has been invaluable in helping me transition smoothly. The iSchool is not only advancing my academic and professional skills but also shaping me into a well-rounded, innovative leader prepared to tackle the challenges of the data-driven world.

I am Shreyansh Goyal from Siliguri, West Bengal. I completed my schooling at The Doon School, Dehradun, and my engineering in Computer Science for DSCE Bangalore, where I built a strong foundation in leadership and academics. Now, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems at Syracuse University. I’m also part of Nexis Student Technology Labs, where I get to work on meaningful projects and explore my enthusiasm for data science and technology.
